The Angolan Airlines (TAAG) has reached 100 percent of compliance withe the recommendations from fthe International Air Transport Association ( IATA), said Tuesday in Luanda the company's quality director.
Speaking to Angop, the source said that the 100 percent represents the adoption of the best international practices regarding operational management and safety, which enabled the firm to get its certificate renewed.
"The areas inspected are those of organisation and control of quality system and safety operation, flight operation, operational dispatch, maintenance and engineering, crew, cockpit, land operations, cargo operation and security against illegal acts," he said.
Since 2008, TAAG has been going through a refoundation process, he said, adding that the company embarked on a wide process of modernisation and adaptation of its procedures based on international standards.
