Happy New Year! A new year is upon us and with it we have another chance to reflect on history.  For a little perspective, consider the following first flights that occurred in the decades preceding 2016: 2006 - Boeing 737-900ER 1996 - Lockheed C-130J 1986 - Fokker F-100 1976 - Ilyushin IL-86 1966 - Yakovlev Yak-40 1956 - Boeing KC-135 1946 - Douglas DC-6 These aircraft were able to exceed expectations through excellent design and constant improvement, lessons by which our Society lives by too.  Therefore, 2016 brings us new opportunities to reflect on the brief history of our Society to ensure that we deliver upon these goals and exceed our members' expectations.
